the PAIN continues ...

SE has done it again. Their track of poor service continues to haunt me.

After receiving my handset on 29 Sep, 2010 and using it merely for 10 days, the display of the device went off. On Saturday, 09 Oct, 2010 I went to the Sony Ericsson Service Center located in Andheri (W), Mumbai. They made me wait for half an hour and finally said that their net wasn't working, so they would not take the handset. I went back again on Monday, 11 Oct, 2010. The person in-charge said that I would get my handset by evening. Work Order No. SE310MTA10766. In the evening when I called, he said it will take more time and I would definitely get it back by maximum next week. So I waited and called them again today, 18 Oct, 2010 and asked about my status. The service center said that my handset has gone to Chennai and I would get it back in another 10 days. This is just ridiculous. A multi national company like Sony Ericsson is providing such poor service to its customers.

I had purchased my phone on 06 June, 2010. You guys took my handset first time on 01 Sep, 2010. I had used it roughly for 3 months. Kindly depreciate the value of the phone and refund my money. I had purchased the phone for Rs 7,613. PFA a copy of the bill, to verify the same. I really do not want the instrument back, just keep it with yourself and keep on servicing it.

higly UNPROFESSIONAL

I deeply regret the moment I decided to buy a Sony Ericsson handset. This is by far the worst service I have ever received.

I have a SE handset - C510, I faced the problem of "inactive sim" and gave it at the Mumbai Service Center on 01 Sep, 2010. Work Order No. SE310MTA10086. I received the phone on 04 Sep, 2010 and got an approval from your engineer saying the handset is OK. By 05 Sep, 2010 morning, I started facing the same problem of "inactive sim". I had to travel to Gurgaon the same evening so couldn't give my handset back to the Mumbai Service Center. I gave my handset for repair to the Gurgaon Service Center on 08 Sep, 2010. Work Order No. SE310MTH11075. I was told I would get my handset back in 10 days. Its almost close to 20 days and still no news. When I called the Gurgaon Service Center, I was told that it is not their duty to follow up and told me to call the call center. After calling the call center and logging a complaint, Complaint No. 88458880, I am told that it would take 6-7 working days. All in all, you have had my phone for over a month. In this time, I have got no call from either the customer desk or the service center telling me the status of my handset, leave aside a spare handset. So in these 30 days, Sony Ericsson expects me to have a spare handset or what? This is the worst service I have ever received. You really don't care for your customers. I will never ever use another SE handset nor recommend it to anyone.
